Privacy policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This page explains what personal data EAB SYNC processes, why, and how you can exercise your rights, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

Boubou Doucara (EAB SYNC) — contact@eabsync.com

Data we process

This website has no forms, no user accounts and no analytics or advertising tools. We only process:

  • the information you share when you contact us by email, WhatsApp or phone: your name, contact details, the content of your messages and details about your project;
  • our clients' data needed to deliver our services and to invoice;
  • technical connection data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time), logged automatically by our hosting provider to keep the website secure and running properly.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your enquiries and preparing quotes — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Delivering our services and client follow-up — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Meeting our accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Keeping the website secure — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own servers, so no data is sent to Google when you visit. No consent banner is therefore required.

Recipients

Your data is intended for EAB SYNC only. It is never sold or rented. It may be processed by our technical providers, strictly as needed for their service:

  • Vercel Inc. (website hosting);
  • our email provider;
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there, under its own privacy policy;
  • Gumroad, when you buy a product: Gumroad processes the payment and shares with us what is needed for delivery (name, email address).

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers are based in the United States. These transfers rely on the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention periods

  • Enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Client data: for the duration of the business relationship, then for the statutory retention periods for accounting and tax records.
  • Technical connection data: a limited period set by our hosting provider for security purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@eabsync.com. We will reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence — for example the AEPD in Spain, the CNIL in France or the APDP in Mali.

Security

The entire website is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection). Access to your data is limited to the people who need it.
